For Use with Keyence MD-X, MD-U & MD-F Laser Markers
The KME-SL is a versatile, space-efficient laser marking enclosure designed for use with Keyence MD-X, MD-U, and MD-F laser markers.
Built on the proven KME-S platform, the KME-SL adds a brush-sealed side slot or round port, allowing long parts to be inserted safely into the enclosure for laser marking.
Both the access door and side slot/port can be used for part loading, giving you greater flexibility for a variety of part sizes and workflows.
Available in left-hand or right-hand configurations, this enclosure offers a compact, reliable, and cost-effective solution for countless laser marking setups.

Side Load Options
Each side-load option features a brush-sealed opening that allows parts to be inserted into the enclosure, while effectively blocking hazardous laser light to maintain a safe work environment.
For non-cylindrical parts up to 10.5″ wide x 1″ tall. Includes center-finding scale.
For cylindrical parts from 0.5″ to 1.5″ in diameter.
For cylindrical parts from 1.5″ to 4″ in diameter.

Accessories
Fixture Plate
Each enclosure includes a 12″ x 12″ precision fixture plate for accurately locating and mounting parts or tooling.
The plate is made from black anodized aluminum and has 32 tapped mounting holes (#10-32) to support a wide range of fixturing and mounting setups.
You can choose to have the fixture plate mounted on fixed-height risers, customized to your part requirements, or on an adjustable-height scissor jack

Equipment Cart
This cart is specifically designed to hold our KME-SL Laser Marking Enclosure, as well as the Keyence MD-X, MD-U or MD-F Laser Marker Controller. It provides a compact, mobile solution for your entire laser marking system.
We recommend utilizing The Fumex FA1-Mini Fume Extractor if your laser marking application requires ventilation and air filtration. Our cart includes a designated location and mounting provisions for this unit, however an alternative fume extractor may be used in this space.
The cart ships fully assembled, and hardware is included to mount our laser marking enclosure, Keyene controller and Fumex fume extractor.
